“Not My President !!” Documentary of “Presidential George W. Bush’s First Inauguration. In 2001 working with Indymedia in New York, I put together the 28 minute documentary, Not My President, which chronicled George W. Bush’s first Inauguration Day in Washington, D.C. and the protests that engulfed the city but were largely ignored by the mainstream media.

“Xapin and Axul” A 18 minute Mayan version of Romeo and Juliet from the highlands of Guatemala. This film stars the students of Yinhatil Nab’en (Seeds of Knowledge) High School, in San Mateo Ixtatan. “Ups A Daisy” In his book, “Working” Studs Terkel wrote “Work is about a search for daily meaning as well as daily bread, for recognition as well as cash, for astonishment rather than torpor; in short, for a sort of life rather than a Monday through Friday sort of dying.”
Terkel never saw “Ups A Daisy” starring Bill Mesnik, as a New York City Everyman just trying to get to work and make a difference. Mesnik’s tour de force is mesmerizing and hilarious.
